Events: EIC Innovators’ Summit. What’s cooking?

The EIC Innovators’ Summit is approaching, have you registered yet? The event is on invitation only and the programme is all the more exclusive for small companies funded by the European Innovation Council (EIC) pilot! We have highlighted a few juicy slices of the programme for you to plan your event.

 

Get inspired by our keynotes

Thomas Birr describes himself as a chief futurist and strategist at innogy, a company whose founding mission is to create a future beyond the traditional energy business. He leads innogy’s Innovation Hub, which is now building and co-creating new digital and platform-powered business models in partnership with the world’s most promising start-ups. He describes himself as a particular an advocate and enthusiast for “Machine Economy” and “Disruptive Digital”. In his opinion if the energy industry, are not disrupting our own industry, someone else certainly will do.

Get a feel for what’s around the corner in digital economy with his keynote speech on 10 September at 14.30.

Follow a wine pairing

You often hear the story of a company that met an investor and now they are partners in business. How did that happen? Fellow innovators will take the stage with their investors, business partners partners, crowdfunders, investors and mentors to explain from both sides how the they met and closed the deal. You can follow these wine pairings all through the event.

Pitch your idea to the dream investor

Are you working on new materials, the next breakthrough software, on life science? Or green energy maybe? Check out the numerous pitching session you can participate in or follow throughout the event. Juries are composed of big investors, large corporations, innovation experts and many more. This is your chance to step on the stage and break a leg.

Berlin Hot Pot Tours

Berlin is one of Europe’s most fascinating hubs when it comes to innovation. Take one of our tours to discover what the city and its innovation ecosystem has to offer. Four different tours will depart at 9.00 on 10 September.

The event is on invitation only and primarily designed for selected participants of the European Innovation Council (EIC) pilot programmes (SME InstrumentFast Track to Innovation and FET-OpenEIC Horizon Prizes), which will receive their invitations as a priority. As places free up we’ll consider other invitees.
