On 9 & 22 November 2021, the European Innovation Council (EIC) successfully organised two virtual preparatory workshops under the EIC Overseas Trade Fairs (OTF) Programme 2.0. The official delegation of SMEs is now ready to exhibit impactful innovations at CES in Las Vegas and Arab Health in Dubai.

The main purpose was to support the best 20 European SMEs, start-ups and scale-ups in the healthcare and digital technology industry throughout their preparation prior to the trade fairs. The selected participants acquired useful insights on the current market trends, regulatory environment as well as entrepreneurial culture of the economic regions of USA and UAE from high-level experts, coaches and business leaders.

In addition, the agenda contained briefing sessions dedicated to the practical aspects of the EIC OTF Programme 2.0 (logistics, customised and standard services offered) in order to ensure a successful business mission.

During these interactive sessions, the European SMEs, start-ups and scale-ups leveraged the opportunity to network and share their experience on how to establish strategic partnerships with international peers, how to capitalise on breakthrough ideas and extensively thrive on a global scale.

The top EIC-funded companies that participated in the workshops and will join the European Pavilion are the following:
