The EIC Winter School 2024 will be addressing topics designed to help EIC beneficiaries in a multi-scope scenario: IP and Legal Strategies for Deep Tech innovations.
Divided into two online sessions of 4 hours each, the EIC Winter School will offer EIC Pathfinder, Transition and Accelerator beneficiaries the chance to safeguard their innovation's future and enhance their innovation or scaleup's value by mastering the art of intellectual property management, leveraging insights from seasoned experts within the EIC ecosystem. Plus, it’s the perfect opportunity to network with EIC peers!
Participants will learn how to effectively protect and leverage their intellectual property, understanding key strategies and legal considerations through real-life insights and guidance from our expert trainers. The sessions would cover the essentials of IP law, helping entrepreneurs understand how to secure their inventions, avoid legal pitfalls, and safeguard their business from potential disputes. Additionally, the events would explore the legal frameworks around licensing, contracts, and partnerships, ensuring that attendees can build and scale their business with strong legal protections in place. This knowledge is crucial for navigating the complexities of innovation while minimizing legal risks and maximizing commercial opportunities. The sessions will take place on:
-
Friday 7 February 2025 | Session 1: Intellectual property strategy and valorisation
-
Friday 14 February 2025 | Session 2: Patent and business legal security
How does it work?
We guarantee a good learning and interactive experience by limiting the sessions to a maximum of 40 participants. Priority is given to the EIC beneficiaries who register to attend both sessions. Even though each training is a standalone session with its own registration, we encourage you to attend both sessions.
When will the registration to the EIC Winter School be launched? Keep an eye on the EIC Community Platform beginning of December not to miss your chance to participate.
