The Startup Policy Hackathon is a collaborative initiative led by Allied for Startups and the European Startup Network, aimed at closing the innovation gap and strengthening Europe’s global leadership in entrepreneurship. Along with Startup Commissioner Ekaterina Zaharieva, the initiative gathers 50+ member associations from all 27 EU Member States and 10,000+ startups, pan-European founders, investors, and startup associations, and will ends with an onsite event held in Brussels (Belgium) on 28 March 2025.

Description
Along with Startup Commissioner Ekaterina Zaharieva, as well as 50+ member associations from all 27 EU Member States and 10,000+ startups, this event will bring together in Brussels pan-European founders, investors, and startup associations to develop solutions for fostering innovation, in light of the EU Startup and Scale-up Strategy.
Allied for Startups and the European Startup Network invite you to register for the open session taking place in the afternoon of the 28 March, which will consist of a Final Pitch in front of policymakers and public representatives, a keynote speech (the speaker will be announced soon!), as well as a cocktail reception.

Identify obstacles to startup growth and propose solutions across all stages of the startup lifecycle.

Provide recommendations for the upcoming EU Startup and Scale-up Strategy.

Foster pan-European collaboration and expand networks across borders.

Working Groups (7-15 groups) tackling challenges at different startup stages: Spark (Pre-seed), Starting (Seed), Accelerating (Growth), Global Expansion (Scale-up), and Exit. A Mini-Jury will provide feedback during the event.
