The WLOUNGE Business Network is proud to unveil the 4th edition of the #WTA24. The Tech Awards Gala by WLOUNGE is one of the largest and most prestigious award ceremonies in the German Tech and innovation industry. The main vision of this Tech Awards is to promote Germany's attractiveness, for start-ups and tech companies, celebrating creating the winners of tomorrow and celebrating today’s most innovative and sustainable companies with the WLOUNGE network and partners locally and globally. The European Innovation Council is glad to partner up with WLOUNGE on the mission and invite EIC beneficiaries to apply for the prizes, divided into 10 categories.

About the Tech Awards Gala
'Often mentioned as Germany's ‘Tech Oscar’, the event is initiated by the WLOUNGE network and CEO and founder, Mali M. Baum & WLOUNGE partners, and community from private and public sectors.
All the network and members are selected and invited, accompanied by other well-known partners from the private and public sectors.
Under the motto "Raise Your Voice, Make It Big", the Tech Awards 2024 will focus on the innovation strength of the ecosystem in Berlin, Germany, and Europe. The event creates connections between founders and pioneers by bringing together the most innovative family businesses, SMEs, investors, venture capitals, corporates, politicians, start-ups, like-minded innovators, universities and other key players of the tech ecosystem.
Who should apply to the competition?
#WTA24's jury members are looking for startups from MVP ready to scaleups and beyond, who see themselves, their customers, their market, their team, and their investors related to the German Market or willing to get into the German market.

SmartCity & PropTech - technology-driven innovations are reshaping urban environments and the real estate industry, creating more efficient, sustainable, and connected cities for the future.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) - AI technologies simulate human intelligence to perform tasks such as problem-solving, decision-making, and data analysis, driving innovation across a wide range of industries.
Deep Tech - innovations that are based on substantial scientific or engineering advances, typically highly innovative, disruptive, and based on long-term research and development. Deep Tech involves technologies that are difficult to reproduce, making them a strong competitive advantage in the market. Deep Tech ventures usually have longer development cycles and require significant capital investment but promise high impact.
Raising star - early-stage start-ups showing great potential to build the next big thing. Have the sense of soonicorn potential.
