The European Innovation Council (EIC) Business Acceleration Services and Safran invite EIC beneficiaries to apply to an online EIC Corporate Day on 15 and 16 March 2023. As one of the leaders in aerospace equipment, the corporate contributes to safer and more sustainable aviation. This specially designed service is meant to gear up collaboration with the company and forge new partnerships.

Having a more sustainable business is something of great importance with each passing day. That’s where Safran, the French-based company, jumps in. Their main mission is to decarbonise aviation. With its ultra-wide portfolio of products, the corporate manages to equip all kinds of airplanes and helicopters everywhere in the world.
EIC beneficiaries selected to attend the online EIC Corporate Day with Safran on 15 and 16 March 2023 will have access to specific training for pitching, pre-arranged meetings with top decision-makers from Safran, organised by the Safran Explore team, and the possibility to network with high-level partners and like-minded innovators in a dedicated online event.
Who can apply?
Safran is looking for globally scalable and sustainable solutions for its industry that help to mitigate climate change and increase circularity.
Safran is looking for innovations in the following topics:
Topic 1: Carbon capture solutions
That means finding new solutions for processes which help capture the CO2 out of plants. The attention point is that CO2 there may be quite diluted.
Topic 2: Recycling
That means finding new solutions to start collecting and recycling all valuable elements (e.g., rare earth elements for magnetics and alloys elements for electronics)

In the application form, you should include the answer to the questions:
- What is your business compliance with the matchmaking event?
- What are your expected specific synergies/outcomes for your potential business with the corporation?
