Our world has seen a huge increase in the globalisation presence of companies and industries in the past decades. Going abroad means an expansion of your innovation market into foreign lands, followed by higher gains and profits. Nevertheless, success is only reached if you implement a smart internationalisation business strategy to your innovative service.
With this in mind, the EIC Community Training “Internationalisation Elements and Resources for Your Company” aims to provide valuable and innovative strategies to the EIC Community of beneficiaries. You will be able to enhance your knowledge and expand your views on what elements and processes are key for an effective internationalisation strategy and its business model by attending the dedicated event, facilitated by the experienced EIC coach Angela Stathi.
Given the internationalisation expansion has become the logical step after the consolidation of your company in your home country – whether it comes from the emergence of a new funding scheme or entering a new market – having a good internationalisation strategy becomes a crucial element for your growth.
With several factors to consider and various needs to be addressed, our coach will facilitate this interactive Community Training for the EIC beneficiaries to learn, exercise and, most importantly, get access to key elements and resources needed to go global. A pre-training survey will be launched right after you are approved to attend this event with the purpose of understanding your background and sector, and therefore providing tailor-made relevant content to you.

Meet our coach – Angela Stathi
Angela Stathi has over 20 years of professional experience in the private, public, and non-profit sectors of which at least 5 in the field of research and innovation. As an expert advisor to the European Commission and the Horizon Europe programme, as well as the former senior finance and strategy professional and CEO of a non-profit in the field of innovation, she currently advises EU funded projects, companies, and applicants with breakthrough technologies and innovations on how to grow their teams, revenues, and operations, finance their business and scale internationally.
She spent most of her career working for large international corporates in the financial services and technology sectors (Schroders, BNP Paribas/FFTW, Moody’s and Fitch Ratings) in global strategy, product, and operations roles.
With her deep passion to help transform people’s lives and economies, she’s an independent advisor for various companies, in the field of youth, climate change, sustainability, energy, and health. As a Global Policy Youth Expert for the United Nations Development (UNDP) programme, she also supports the implementation of the UN’s 2030 Agenda addressing youth-specific needs in entrepreneurship, technology, innovation, and the transition to low-carbon and green economy.
