On 16 and 17 September 2025, a delegation of 5 EIC-backed companies will be exhibiting at the Tech Osaka Summit, showcasing their cutting-edge innovations, connecting with players in the Japanese ecosystem, and exploring business opportunities across Asia and the global market. But this is not all! In the following days, 17 and 18 September, other 2 EIC beneficiaries will be joining the Global Startup Expo, an international conference event that – in partnership with Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai – unites the world’s leading deep tech startups, investors, collaboration-minded universities, research institutions, and corporations to explore innovative solutions to global-scale challenges. Both the fairs will also be enriched with panels with intervention from Agnieszka Stasiakowska, Head of Unit, EIC BAS and Yousef Yousef, EIC Board Member and CEO of LG Sonic.

Meet the following EIC-backed innovators at Global Startup Expo 2025
The EIC awardee work in the field of Advanced Manufacturing & Advanced Materials, building a sustainable future with low-carbon cement innovation. The company develops, produces and markets low-carbon concrete from raw clay to reduce the construction sector's carbon footprint.
The EIC-funded PRISM project aims to revolutionise recycling using a thermo-mechanical process. The project plans an industrial-scale plant in Germany, processing 8,400 tons annually by 2025. With global expansion, PRISM is a step towards a sustainable energy future.
