The EIC Service Catalogue hosts a variety of due diligence services to help you estimate your project’s value, assets and commercial potential. This month, we’re bringing you a curated selection of these business appraisal offers, allowing you to fully access your company’s potential and refine your goals and strategy.

With services from 200+ organisations from Europe and beyond, the EIC Service Catalogue is dedicated to help you find specialised support from the EIC Partners. Through this platform, EIC-backed innovators can filter the offers according to their funding instrument, the TRL of their solution or the sector in which they are working.

After finding the right service to take your company to the next level, you can also apply for financial support to access the paid services hosted on the platform through the EIC ACCESS+ initiative.

1. Business appraisal personalised service by Zirka InnoTech

For: EIC Pathfinder, EIC Transition, EIC Accelerator and Seal of Excellence holders

A personalised due diligence service to help companies become 100% investment ready. Zirka InnoTech will examine the EIC beneficiary’s management structure, financial strategy, and whether it is developing an innovative product that addresses an unmet need. By the end of the service, the project’s value will be determined by considering the likelihood that it will meet key milestones on schedule and reach critical value inflection points.

 

2. Business Assessment by Public Choice S.L (BioInnova Consulting)

For: EIC Pathfinder, EIC Transition, EIC Accelerator and Seal of Excellence holders

A structured assessment helping EIC beneficiaries evaluate the viability and strategic positioning of their life sciences innovations. It includes an initial data review, a market potential analysis and a final report with key findings and investment readiness score. The service is delivered over one to three months by in-house consultants with experience in life sciences innovations, investment and market access.

 

3. IPR Due-diligence by StartingBloch

For: EIC Transition, EIC Accelerator and Seal of Excellence holders

This service will support EIC beneficiaries with an inventory of their Intellectual Property (IP) assets and a presentation of the key ones relevant to their business strategy. StartingBloch will then provide a series of recommendations to allow the beneficiary to implement a tailor-made IP policy. The service can last between three to six weeks, depending on the scope.

 

4. Technology and Business Assessment by LabToMarket

For: EIC Transition, EIC Accelerator and Seal of Excellence holders

This service offers comprehensive technology validation for solutions in the health and well-being sector. Over a period of a month, the service involves rigorous assessments, expert evaluations, and detailed reporting to ensure that the technology is sound and investment ready. At the end, LabToMarket will provide a detailed validation report that includes expert evaluations, risk assessments, and recommendations, providing clarity and confidence for investment decisions.

 

5. Regulatory, clinical and business due diligence by MD101

For: EIC Transition, EIC Accelerator and Seal of Excellence holders

MD101’s support covers all critical aspects of the due diligence process for medical devices. These include corporate governance, business and clinical strategy, IT/cyber due diligence and US/EU regulatory strategy. The service includes a comprehensive report to help entrepreneurs make informed decisions and build a roadmap of all critical levels of their project. It is typically delivered in a period of six to eight weeks.

These services are tailored to EIC beneficiaries and Seal of Excellence holders and provided by the group of innovation ecosystem organisations known as EIC Partners.

Can EIC beneficiaries receive financial support to cover the costs of the paid offers on the EIC Service Catalogue? 

EIC innovators can apply for financial support to access the paid services on the EIC Service Catalogue through an open call powered by the EIC ACCESS+ initiative.  

This call offers up to EUR 60 000 in grants, covering up to 50% of the costs to access specialised services available through the platform.

This opportunity is available for EIC beneficiaries or Seal of Excellence holders under the Horizon Europe program.

The EIC Service Catalogue is brought to you by the EIC Ecosystem Partnership Programme, part of the EIC Business Acceleration Services. This programme is creating a network of partner organisations to address one of the greatest challenges for EIC innovators: accessing specialised sector-focused services. By forging new strategic partnerships with key actors such as business accelerators, incubators, research and training organisations, the EIC helps its beneficiaries access their resources, facilities and expertise so that no individual need is left unaddressed.
