The Challenge
The challenge focuses on developing safe and effective tooth whitening and stain prevention technologies suitable for people with sensitive teeth. It aims to explore:
- New ingredients, raw materials, or technologies that can be formulated into daily-use toothpaste or other oral care formats
- Solutions that offer visible whitening or prevent stain build-up without worsening tooth sensitivity
- Approaches that gently clean or brighten
- Technologies that enhance or prolong whitening effects, such as retention agents or coating systems
The ultimate goal is to deliver whitening benefits without worsening sensitivity, ideally improving both appearance and comfort in a daily-use oral care format.
Reward
Successful applicants can receive 6-month funded project, ranging from $25,000 to $100,000, including access to Haleon’s scientific expertise and potential for expanded partnership opportunities based on results
