Addionics, an EIC-funded start-up working on next generation batteries, has closed a Series A funding round with a large group of investors, raising an amount of $27 million (around €24 million). With this funding round, led by Deep Insight, Addionics also enlarged its board of directors.

EIC pilot funded company Billon is one of the three winners of the Global FinTech Accelerator by Monetary Authority of Singapore, part of Singapore FinTech Festival. The company was awarded for its zero-cost transaction DLT platform, opening the $3T micropayments market to financial institutions. The 12-week acceleration program and the jury's verdict confirm Billon's solutions to be a great fit for ASEAN market.
