European Innovation Council (EIC) pilot's funded company Castor EDC received the Deloitte Fast50 award for being the number 1 fastest growing technology company in the healthcare sector and number 4 overall in the Netherlands.

Castor EDC is an Electronic Data Capture cloud-based software, which is used for the collection of clinical data.

The system allows researchers to streamline the clinical trial process and use their data to its full potential. Medical data has become the world's most valuable asset, yet 85% of medical research data is never re-used. Castor EDC platform enables researchers to set up data capture forms, collaborate with colleagues, invite patients through questionnaires and import, export and analyze their data in a secure, compliant cloud environment, all without elaborate training or technical skills.

The Deloitte Technology Fast 50 competition is aimed at fast-growing technology companies. Given their significant role as drivers of future growth, these awards aim at giving special recognition and support to the companies nominated. View the full rankings here.
