Topics

There are two topics you can apply for:

  1. DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OPTIMISATION OF TIMBER BUILDINGS

This topic is open to solutions and ideas that will encourage Würth customers to adopt a prefabrication-oriented approach when planning and constructing timber buildings. On the other hand, we are looking for ways to improve the correspondence between the design and construction phase to reduce additional work on site, as well as solutions to simplify the collection and management of technical documentation.

  1. DURABILITY AND IMPROVED MAINTENANCE OF TIMBER BUILDINGS

The second topic deals with the lifetime of timber buildings after their construction. We are looking for solutions and ideas that will increase the durability of timber constructions, for example to increase their lifespan. Furthermore, Würth Srl is aiming to find ways to optimise standard maintenance and avoid additional emergency maintenance for timber buildings.
