RaDAR is a European Commission co-funded Public Procurement of Innovation (PPI) project which aims to address the European urgent need of a rapid detection and effective infection control system for antimicrobial resistance (AMR) through the implementation of a value-based cross-border collaborative procurement of innovative solutions.
RaDAR brings together buyers in the healthcare sector with expert partners to present a market challenge for the global problem of antimicrobial resistance and work with supplies to demonstrate value-based solutions. The buyers taking part in the project are:
- Reseau des Acheteurs Hospitaliers – Resah
- Institut Català d’Oncología – ICO
- Servicio Vasco de Salud Osakidetza – OSAK
- Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, Department of Public Health – UNINA-DISAP
At the moment, before launching the tenders, the group of buyers wishes to hear from potential suppliers on the demand definition. In order to progress to tender in the most effective way, the RaDAR project is looking to understand the market’s ability to respond and also how the buyers can facilitate supply chain innovation to deliver what is needed.
The group has therefore published a market sounding and call for innovative solutions, to open a dialogue with the supply chain and provide an opportunity for potential solution providers to express interest and provide feedback.
The deadline for interested suppliers to submit their feedback to the Market Response Form has been extended until 27 February.
You can express your interest here!
Publication of the call for tenders is expected to be done on the second half of 2023.
The market sounding will be followed by a series of Open Market Consultation (OMC) workshops, which will be held both in person and online:
- International online workshop - 1 March 2023
- Naples (hybrid event) - 2 March 2023
- Paris (hybrid event) - 8 March 2023
- Barcelona (hybrid event) - 9 March 2023
- San Sebastian (hybrid event) - 10 March 2023
You can register for the Open Market Consultation events and express interest for bi-lateral meetings between buyers and potential suppliers via the Market Response Form.
