The EIC Accelerator beneficiary Axiles Bionics closes the first €6 Million of a €8 Million Series A financing to accelerate global expansion rollout and breakthrough bionic technology. The investment round has PE Group as the lead investor, and it is supported by the EIC Fund, Finance&Invest.brussels1, entrepreneurs, private investors and the management.

Business growth through innovation: EIC-backed start-ups and scale-ups expand ABB's energy and motion pipeline

On 25–26 June, the EIC brought 10 high-potential start-ups from 5 countries to ABB’s Motion and Electrification business in Italy. After weeks of tailored training, pitch rehearsals, and business proposal reviews by the EIC, the selected EIC-backed innovators met senior decision-makers at the EIC Corporate Day with ABB, with a programme packed with live pitching sessions and one-on-one meetings.

The EIC Pavilion drives European biotech forward at BIO 2025

From 16 to 19 of June, the European Innovation Council (EIC) gathered a select group of 14 of Europe’s leading life sciences start-ups and scale-ups at BIO 2025 in Boston, a global hotspot for biotech innovation and investment, following the successful conclusion of the EIC Immersive Week. During the fair, the delegation of EIC-backed companies engaged with investors, industry leaders, and potential partners from across the globe, unlocking new opportunities to scale breakthrough biotechnologies beyond European borders.
