Open Call: Go beyond borders and explore Public Procurement opportunities in Austria, Czech Republic and Germany

On behalf of the European Commission – Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs – the Association for Supply Chain Management, Procurement and Logistics (BME) and its partners invite you to join the Open Public Procurement 4 Europe online seminars for the tri-border region of Austria, Czech Republic and Germany. The workshops will take place on 30 November 2020 and bring together various stakeholders from the border regions, allowing market research to go beyond borders and explore a single European Market. 

 

Register before 28 November 12.00 (CET).

 

Public procurers and suppliers such as SME’s from the tri-border region are encouraged to participate and discover business opportunities across national borders. 

 

How is the seminar organised?

On 30 November 2020 attendees will join an online plenary that brings to light the importance of cross-border procurement, presenting the advantages of becoming part of local and regional cross-border procurement networks. On 7 December 2020, a roundtable will take place digitally. Participants can choose to take part in one of the below workshops depending on their topic of interest. 

 

Workshop 1: What are the main internal, organisational obstacles you face when implementing cross-border procurement?

Workshop 2: What are the external factors (legal, political, social) that keep you from tendering across borders?

Workshop 3: Meet innovative companies from the region and exchange. 

 

Who can apply?

All companies and individuals that are involved in indirect purchasing across a wide range of goods such as: 

  • textiles
  • office items
  • road salt
  • all kinds of services
  • hygiene items
  • cleansing material
  • travel
  • manufacturing machines
  • operating materials
  • hardware
  • software
