The European Innovation Council (EIC), together with  CUF, part of the José de Mello Group, would like to invite EIC beneficiaries to join the next EIC Investor Day, taking place in Lisbon (Portugal), on 29 and 30 November 2022. Meant for health-related innovators/companies working on Medtech, E-Health, and Biotech & Pharmaceuticals, EIC-funded beneficiaries will be able to pitch their business to top European later-stage investors like  Apex Ventures, Earlybird, firstminute Capital, Octopus Ventures and Sofinnova Partners.

Applications are open until 24 October 2022.

In that light CUF is teaming up with the EIC to bring an Investor Day to EIC innovators working on solutions in the areas of Medtech, E-Health and Biotech & Pharmaceuticals.

What’s in it for EIC beneficiaries? 

EIC-funded companies will be selected by an exclusive investor jury from top European VCs & CVCs with notable investments in the healthcare sector. The selected companies will have the opportunity to pitch in front of these top European VCs & CVCs and meet them in private one-to-one meetings alongside more networking opportunities. 

The event is open to all innovative approaches with a focus on 1) Medtech, 2) E-Health, and 3) Biotech & Pharmaceuticals. 

What’s on the agenda?  

The EIC & CUF have set up an exceptional agenda for the event (Address: CUF Tejo, Av. 24 de Julho 171A, 1350-352 Lisboa, Portugal). On the evening of 29 November, a welcome dinner for EIC beneficiaries will take place. 

During the day of 30 November, 3 thematic pitching sessions will occur in the morning/early afternoon where EIC-funded companies will present their innovative technologies and solutions with a focus on 1) Medtech, 2) E-Health, and 3) Biotech & Pharmaceuticals. 

 After these pitching sessions, Investors will have the opportunity to meet the companies in private one-to-one meetings to dive a bit deeper with the company representatives. The day will close with further networking activities and an optional Hospital Tour at CUF Tejo.

Who can apply? 

All EIC-funded companies looking for Seed to Series A fundraising and working on innovative solutions in matters related to 1) Medtech, 2) E-Health, and 3) Biotech & Pharmaceuticals. 

Selection process 

During the application process, you will need to fill in an application form. Afterwards, your company profile will be shared with our investor jury, and they will make the selection based on their investment preferences.
