On 22 November 2022 (10h00 to 16h00 CET), the European Innovation Council (EIC) Greenhouse Gas Programme (GHG), in the scope of its Co-creation Peer-to-Peer journey, will organise the Green Venture Capital Day, followed by facilitated bilateral meetings on 23 November 2022. We are looking for business actors – investors, business angels, corporates, and other business stakeholders – to engage in this event and explore new partnerships and opportunities with the co-creation teams and EIC Beneficiaries.

What is the EIC GHG Co-creation Peer-to-Peer?

The Greenhouse Gas (GHG) programme was piloted in 2021 as a part of the EIC’s Business Acceleration Services. The programme aims to help the EIC beneficiaries in their innovation towards the achievement of carbon neutrality by monitoring and supporting EIC beneficiaries to:

☑ Reduce GHG emissions of their companies/organisations;

☑ Co-create existing or innovate new products and services aiming at the reduction of GHG emissions of corporates, industry associations, regions (i.e., GHG Co-creation with Business Partners), and their peers (GHG Co-creation Peer-to-peer); and

☑ Be aware of their GHG emissions and their reduction impact. This is accomplished by the usage of a specific developed GHG accounting tool and also by the continuous support and expertise available.

What is Green Venture Capital Day?

The Green Venture Capital Day is the final event of the EIC GHG Co-creation Peer-to-Peer where 20 involved EIC beneficiaries are invited to showcase their results and expertise enhanced in a several-months-long collaboration with other peers and the EIC to the invited business actors such as corporates, business angels and pre-seed venture capitalists. The purpose of this event is to provide an opportunity for EIC beneficiaries to pitch their joint business cases and individual expertise and matchmake with invited business actors. The event will be held on 22 November 2022 and will be followed by bilateral meetings (pre-scheduled/optional) on 23 November 2022.

The Green Venture Capital Day will have three different parts:

Part 1: Co-creation Teams Pitching Session | 22 November from 10h00 to 12h00 CET

Part 2: Individual EIC Beneficiaries Pitching Session | 22 November from 13h30 to 16h00 CET

Part 3: Bilateral Meeting | 23 November (optional and pre-scheduled)
