Often, we tell startups' stories through their achievements: the disruptive innovations, the new funding rounds or international partnerships. But to get there, innovators have to undertake a long journey, facing the challenges of an unknown market, conducting pilots and trying to find a place in the middle of the crowd. For the second Coaching Corner episode, we bring together Mikkel Kongsfelt, CEO and founder of the Danish company RadiSurf and Chris Kirby, the business coach that followed their EIC-funded project.

EIC-supported ventures can now apply to the Bridgehead Programme until 14 September 2021, which will select and support a maximum of 5 EIC-supported start-ups in market-access. Specifically, the Bridgehead Catalysers will help EIC start-ups achieve speedy access to markets, tap into local networks of partners and clients, and get a first-hand feel for the local regulatory and business contexts of new markets. Stories: EIC-funded quantum processor builder Pasqal has raised €25 million in Series A round

The EIC created a new Story | 2 months ago

The new investment round was led by the go-to quantum computing fund Quantonation and the Defense Innovation Fund, managed by Bpifrance. The French quantum processor company Pasqal will use the funding to develop its analogue and digital quantum processors further, speed up its applications’ co-design approach, and develop a QCaaS (Quantum Computing as a Service) hybrid cloud offer. In addition to that, the EIC-funded startup is also beginning its international expansion.

Elliptic Labs recently announced the signature of its first enterprise software license agreement with one of the top three leading global laptop/PC manufacturers. This agreement is for the company's AI Virtual Smart Sensor Platform and covers the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) 's mid-tier high volume commercial laptops across multiple models.

Stories: EIC-funded technology ATLANT 3D tested by NASA

ATLANT 3D Nanosystems, a nanotechnology company from Denmark, was founded in 2018 to enable on-demand microelectronics manufacturing on Earth and Space. In 2020, the Danish startup received a request from NASA to develop their first atomic layer 3D printing compact machine for micro and zero gravity. ATLANT 3D presented this new concept and, thanks to their “ATLANT 3D Nanofabricator 0G”, secured the US Space Agency as one of their clients.
