AEInnova was selected as one of the 4 most innovative companies in the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) in the 12th IOT/ WT Innovation World Cup of the Hannover Messe fair. More than 600 startups participated at the event and tried to take home this award, but the EIC-funded innovators were among the short list of winners.
AEInnova was successfully classified and pitched its INDUEYE solution live at the Hannover Messe Digital Edition. AEInnova’s Chairman and CBDO, Raúl Aragonés, presented the company’s wireless and battery-less IoT solution at the Awards Ceremony in the category of Smart Industries.
The Spanish EIC funded company was recognised as a game-changer, strengthening the visibility and credibility of AEInnova in front of its clients and distributors. David Comellas, CEO of AEInnova mentioned: “Being designated one of the four most innovative companies at Hannover Messe has given us the best visibility in front of those potential customers, partners, and investors. At the same time, it has given us also credibility not only for our company but also for our technology. The relevance and credibility we gained in Hannover Messe will be the best tool to grow our sales in the industrial sector.”.
AEInnova aims to tackle the challenges of the future, namely on Climate Change and Digitalisation. Their technology has been designed to help industry to become cleaner and more environmentally friendly and to promote industrial digitalisation in the transition to Industry 4.0. About their vision for the future, David added: “We aim to become the leading company in self-powered IoT solutions for the industry and energy harvesting solutions. We want to demonstrate that new high-tech companies can grow in Europe despite all the difficulties that we have to face in our path. The support of the EIC will also be crucial to achieving our goals.”.
AEInnova received a Phase 2 Grant from the European Innovation Council to support the development of their INDUEYE 2.0 sensing technology.
