The Knowledge Valorisation Week will showcase excellent examples of strategies and tools to boost the uptake of research results that benefit all. It will connect policy makers and stakeholders from across Europe and nudge dialogue and knowledge sharing. Enhancing knowledge valorisation capacities and skills in the Union is crucial to accelerate the use of science-based solutions and inventions for the recovery and the twin green and digital transitions. Europe has to make research results work for society.

Register here until 30 April 2021, 11.00 CET.

Programme

In a series of webinars, outstanding professionals will present best practices from ten EU Member States, share their experiences of challenges and successes, and reply to questions.

The Week, taking place from 27 April 2021, 10.00 until 30 April 2021, 13.00 (CEST), will be rounded off with a policy panel discussing what we can learn from the current crisis in terms of combining the free flow of research results and data with strategic and economic interests in Europe.

All webinars will be webstreamed. If you want to actively participate in the event (via SLIDO), you need to register.

The EU Knowledge Valorisation Week is organised by the European Commission, Directorate-General Research and Innovation; the Austrian Federal Ministries of Digital and Economic Affairs; Education, Science and Research; Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology; the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles (Belgium); the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment of Finland; the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation of France; the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment and the Department for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Skills of Ireland;  the Ministry of Science, Education and Sport of the Republic of Lithuania; the Ministry of Science, Technology and Higher Education and the Ministry of Economy and Digital Transition of Portugal; and the Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digitalisation of Romania.
