EIT Health is currently promoting three different opportunities under the framework of the EIC-EIT Health Collaboration for EIC-supported organisations. These are the Gold Track Workshop, the Patient Innovation Bootcamp and the MedTech Bootcamp. If you’re working in the healthcare area in an early-stage start-up or if your company is looking to scale-up your business at a European level, continue to read and learn more about these opportunities.

EIT Health Gold Track Workshop

Ready to accelerate the growth of your massively scalable healthcare company? Apply to Gold Track Workshop for EIC-supported ventures!

EIT Health is offering previously supported EIC ventures a unique opportunity to apply to the workshop phase of Gold Track. The ultimate aim of the Workshop is to convince an Expert Council member to champion your company in order to access the Gold Track full programme. The Gold Track Workshop will be an in-person meeting on June 23-24th, 2022. At the workshop you will have the possibility to network with the Expert Council members, the Gold Track team and current and future companies in the programme.

Once your company is selected and committed to participate in Gold Track, you are paired with top-flight life science advisors who immerse themselves in ideating, strategising, and providing operational execution to set you on a path to success. In doing so, the programme aims to support the top EU companies in the health care space to accelerate their growth globally with a vision to build optimism in the European life science ecosystem by co-creating success stories.

The Patient Innovation Bootcamp consists of two-weeks of mentoring and training on-site in Lisbon– medical and technology validation and development, and Copenhagen – implementation and diffusion, and on-line training regarding business model design in between.

The Bootcamp will be made up of the following three phases:

  1. Development & Validation

Lisbon, 29 August – 2 September = Review your problem-solution and solution-market fit with the support of Patient Innovation, NOVA, Glintt and the Gulbenkian foundation

  1. Business Model Development

Barcelona, 26 - 30 September = Develop your business model and investigate the market potential for your product with the support of IESE and Biocat

  1. Implementation & Diffusion

Copenhagen, 10 – 14 October = Pitch your solution in an entrepreneurial ecosystem with the support of Copenhagen Business School, the University of Copenhagen, and Walk to Path experts

Upon graduation in November 2022, participant start-ups will automatically become part of the EIT Health Alumni network, through which they can access a community of like-minded entrepreneurs and access the suite of EIT Health programmes.
