Innovation Procurement Webinars: learn more about public procurement on IPR and cybersecurity in the EU

Innovation procurement becomes an important mean of promoting cooperation among different stakeholders and fostering cross-sectorial progress in innovation. If you are interested in knowing more about this topic, you can dive into these two webinars that presented the ins and outs of public procurement focused on IPR and cybersecurity.

 

Webinar: IPR and innovation procurement

On 20 January, as part of a DG GROW's series on innovation procurement, a webinar on Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) was organised. The webinar presented EU guidance on leaving IPR ownership with contractors in public procurement, as well as case studies from Member States and the European Commission.

Webinar: Innovation procurement in cybersecurity and dual use 

Organised by the European Assistance for Innovation Procurement – EAFIP, the webinar took place on 13 January and it was focused on how to use innovation procurement strategically in the domain of cybersecurity and dual use. This was a 4-hour workshop that included presentations on ongoing policy initiatives in Europe and practical experiences from a number of interesting case studies.
