EIC Investor Day with Bpifrance: 18 EIC-funded innovators dive into Deep Tech

On 10 March 2020, a limited number of EIC-backed up SMEs will have the chance to pitch their innovations to investors at Bpifrance during the joint EIC Investor Day. The event will take place during the Deep Tech Week in Paris.

Asteria is a software sold to banks and businesses. They combine data from both bank API and business software API and apply machine learning algorithms to forecast cash flow. Asteria visualizes the cash flow and can suggest actions to improve cash flow using bank services and business actions.

BIOsens developed a portable, rapid, precise mycotoxins detection device. This unique solution is the first to provide an automated way to prepare samples of plant material (such as corn, wheat, and other cereals), analyze them on the content of mycotoxins (dangerous plant diseases) within only 21 minutes and deliver results on built-in screen or save them in the cloud.

Brainware was found in 2013 as spin-off (sister) company of Seges (est. in 2006) with a strong focus on providing better digital adoption. While our company Seges provides solutions for digital transformation and custom software development for more than 12 years, we saw the need of end users to adopt such digital solutions. Thus, the owners decided to create a unique solution for employees or end users to easily adopt digital solutions and created YesElf as product owned by Brainware company.

Business Distribution Blockchain Solutions S.L. (biztribution), a high-tech start-up founded in 2018. biztribution was born out of the current lack of adequate distribution solutions for the air transportation and tourism industry. We are a passionate company focused on how technology can be applied to better serve our customers, being aware of their challenges and continuously working on innovations to meet their needs. We provide a disruptive business shift of paradigm through blockchain-powered distribution solutions to the travel & tourism ecosystem industry.

Emplobot supplies candidates with unique career assistance by searching for and also applying for jobs on their behalf. As a result we are going to eliminate the process of looking for a job by people. We are targeting the Recruitment Agency Market worth EUR 500bn (globally) with our SaaS enabled marketplace addressed to SMEs and Enterprises.

EnduroSat is the only satellite company in Bulgaria with a strategic mission to develop innovative services and products in the field of Space Technologies. The company has developed a unique software-defined NanoSats and satellite communication systems, bringing a paradigm improvement in payload data services accessibility and cost. 

Entekno is a science-driven company where inorganic materials are tailored for a sustainable World. We have developed and patented a technology called MicNo® where the properties of the materials are enhanced by controlling the atomic structure in the direction required. MicNo® technology can be used in many fields such as Cosmetics and Coatings.

Follow Inspiration, S.A., is a technological company founded in 2012, focused on software and hardware development. The company’s strong skills on navigation and mapping, image recognition and artificial intelligence as well as robotics led to the development of innovative solutions for our customers.

Global Data Excellence SA (GDE) is a Swiss software publisher based in Geneva subsidised by the European Commission (Horizon 2020 SME Instrument) and which has more than 30 major customers in the industrial, financial and public sectors. GDE has developed the Data Excellence Management System (DEMS), a cognitive and social platform based on the Data Excellence Science (integration of IT, linguistics, business management and artificial intelligence) to automate data integration, business intelligence, governance and data sharing. 

Gogoa develops exoskeletons for medical rehabilitation. Their Hank exoskeleton is the first EU product with CE mark (July 2018). They are developing new products and clinical trials to expand the application field of their core technology.

ISCLEANAIR – BREATHE YOUR LIFE® is a "scale-up" company operating from April 2017, following extensive validation activities up to the commercial phases, to industrialize and commercialize the disruptive technology named APA - Air Pollution Abatement® at global level, performing further developments and technology applications everywhere and the dissemination at the service of people and the environment. The company recently was recognized into "FT 1000 Europe's Fastest-Growing Companies 2020", as Top 400 Leaders For Growth "Il sole 24 ore - Italy" (n.128,) and as a finalist into Top 100 Europe 2020, by Red Herring.

Ladimo was established 2015 and employs 10 highly educated people with backgrounds in photogrammetry, photonics, mathematical modelling, sales and marketing. Ladimo accumulated sales is 500 000 €, last year 2019 138 000 €. The company is working with strategic partners for pilots and will have product for sale at the end of the year 2020.

Klepsydra is a friendly and accessible software framework aimed at building high performance and quality space, robotics, aerospace, autonomous vehicles and IoT embedded applications. Klepsydra reduces development times by 50% and speeds up data processing by 40%. Their primary market is the space industry, which is segmented globally.

 Noraker is developing bioactive composite implants addressed to a wide spectrum of bone trauma indications (bone fracture, tendon and ligament rupture). As population ages, it will contribute to preserve the quality of the bones for a better and longer active life of the citizens (with potential benefits for the EU economy as a whole). It will also offer improved therapeutic for population suffering from bone none-healing and generate important healthcare savings.

SigmaPrecision: Predictive maintenance is one of the most demanded application for Industry 4.0. predictive-sigma is our predictive maintenance platform, empowered by the most recent technology, that helps our customers to avoid undesired stops, reduce maintenance costs and identify process inefficiencies. Selected as one of the most promising startups in Catalonia on 2018, they have presented their solution in relevant industrial events like IoT SWC, Hannover Messe or Maintenance Bilbao. The company is currently working on several projects with industrial leaders in Spain and opening their first international projects starting in Germany, Mexico, Colombia and Peru.

SpotLab is an R&D company that develops medical image technologies.  SpotLab brings together low-cost hardware devices for microscopy image acquisition and advanced and intelligent software components for image analysis. They have created a digital ecosystem for decentralized analysis of medical images, which aims to reduce time, cost and distance of medical diagnosis.

Zapiens’s mission is clear: Empower every person with Knowledge. Average employees waste more than 5 hours every week either waiting for vital information from their colleagues or working to recreate existing institutional knowledge. This great loss of time leads to a great loss of productivity which, in turn, translates into losses of millions of euros each year. Zapiens' solutions train employees and offer a virtual assistant to answer any question at work embedded in the platforms where most of the work itself is happening at corporates such as Microsoft TEAMS.

Zymvol Biomodeling, develops, and applies molecular modeling software to accelerate enzyme discovery and design. Thanks to their cloud-based computer simulations pipeline they are capable of screening thousands of protein variants in competitive time.
