EIC Ask me anything about Corporate Days: Meet the speakers of our Community Talk

Tomorrow, on 28 April, the European Innovation Council will host the first EIC Community Talk. The online session will fuel EIC beneficiaries’ ability to network, trade ideas and solve challenges related with Corporate Days. Curious about this new format? Look no further!

 

Have you recently received funding under the European Innovation Council and you would like to know more on how to apply to EIC Corporate Days? Or perhaps you have attended EIC Corporate Days before, but did not gain any traction? The answers to your questions can be a short-moderated call away. Tomorrow, two former participants of Corporate Days will share their experience and answer questions other EIC beneficiaries may have on how to get through the selection procedure and ultimately do business with corporates. Meet here the speakers! 

 

Filipe Aguiar, Pharma73

Filipe Aguiar, Manager and Chief Business Development of Pharma73. Academic background in Applied Chemistry, Biotechnology, degree in 2003 from the Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia, Universidad de Nova de Lisboa, and a Postgraduate Degree in Accounting and Finance for Non-financials and a Postgraduate Degree in Bioenergy. 

Professional career dedicated mostly as Project Manager on renewable energy projects like biofuel plants (Enerfuel, Sines, Portugal), Wind farms, solar farms and wave energy projects from greenfield development to start-up and productions. Biotechnology entrepeneur, founder of 73100 Lda biotech company in 2006, an early stage company dedicated to the development of projects based on biopolymers and microbial fermentation technologies and also bioenergy technologies. Founder of Pharma73 in 2012, company dedicated to the production of new biobased excipients for the Pharmaceutical industry.

Celine Saint Olive Baque, Noraker

Celine Saint Olive Baque likes to create and bring to the market innovative technical products in order to answer the needs and expectations of every consumer. At the cross-roads of Research and Business, she has been able to achieve great results and manage challenges in an international and changing environment, in large corporates such as Philips or L’Oréal and SME’s such as Noraker. Celine’s core expertise is to lead a culture of innovation from idea generation to product launches through management of multidisciplinary and international teams and projects:

  • to design products out of the market codes with deep understanding of users and non-users product experiences and social-media listening;
  • to create unique offers by combining technical and soft skills;
  • co-creation with third parts and customers - quick and iterative experimentations and prototypes generation;
  • business development to increase categories market share;
  • leading teams to transform ideas into innovative products with clear deadlines and resources;
  • to create a dynamic of success through internal and external communication;

Celine is also focused on helping and supporting the local tech start-ups and SMEs to scale-up through French and EU funding.
